Now that you’ve seen the glass couture pieces from the fashion show, it’s time to put the spotlight on the people. Here I am with the Producer of Burst, Emily Barnett, who along with her team managed to pull of a fantastic event in only five weeks. Talk about performing under pressure!

By the end of the evening, we were both filled with emotion, Emily soaking up the night’s success, and me still in disbelief at this unique and unreal display of art in motion.

A purely coincidental and well timed shopping excursion to Mexx last week for their store opening alleviated any sort of concerns regarding what to wear to the Burst fashion show.  For the occasion, I chose to wear my two new acquisitions, the white pants and the neon shirt with dragonflies & butterflies printed on it that made me fall in love at first sight.  I paired them with a navy Blazer from Zara and my super high Brazilian heels, which I love but were not the most appropriate for walking home after a long night on my feet.

Not worry, actually, bloggers don’t feel pain! ^_^
